Anti-Granzyme B, clone 0.N.316

Granzymes are neutral serine proteases, which are stored in specialized lytic granules of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and in natural killer (NK) cells. A number of granzymes A to G, have been isolated and cloned from mouse CTLs and NK cells, however in man, fewer have been cloned and identified. One of these, human granzyme B, is involved in target cell apoptosis during lymphocyte mediated cytotoxicity. Exocytosis of granzyme containing granules in the cytoplasm of the target cell leads to the induction of DNA fragmentation and apoptosis. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:25-1:50 , Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Hodgekin's lymphoma, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
