The human CD59 cell surface antigen is a 18-20kD GPI linked glycoprotein broadly expressed by human leukocytes and erythrocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin), and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:5-1:10, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Y3/Ag1.2.3 rat myeloma cells with spleen cells from DA rat. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
