Anti-Calponin, clone CP-19

Anti-Calponin antibody was purified from mouse ascites by protein A chromatography.  This product reacts with human, chicken, and turkey. Cross reactivity with Calponin from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Thin filament-associated protein that is implicated in the regulation and modulation of smooth muscle contraction. It is capable of binding to actin, calmodulin, troponin C and tropomyosin. The interaction of calponin with actin inhibits the actomyosin Mg-ATPase activity. [The UniProt Consortium]
