Anti-BETA 1 ADRENERGIC RECEPTOR

This affinity purified antibody is directed against human beta 1 adrenergic. This product was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with the antigen based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence to human, mouse, rat, and rhesus macaque. Protein function: Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine- induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. This receptor binds epinephrine and norepinephrine with approximately equal affinity. Mediates Ras activation through G(s)-alpha- and cAMP-mediated signaling. [The UniProt Consortium]
