Anti-alpha1-Antichymotrypsin (AACT, Alpha1-ACT), clone 8.F.13

Alpha1-Antichymotrypsin (AACT) is a serine proteinase inhibitor and minor acute phase protein with a molecular weight of ~68kD, occurring in serum at 250-500mg/L. AACT appears to inhibit chymotrypsin specifically. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (Titer): 1:200,000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
