MMP Inhibitor Profiling Kits |
Inhibition of a panel of MMPs by 50microM of CL-82198 (Cat. #
EI-302), a specific MMP-13 inhibitor |
The MMP Inhibitor Profiling Kits are assay systems designed to determine the
specificity of inhibitors against a panel of ten matrix metalloproteinase enzymes, using either a quenched fluorogenic substrate or a thiopeptide chromogenic substrate.
Included are ten active MMP enzymes, assay buffer, a prototypic control inhibitor (NNGH), and a detailed instruction booklet.

ATF2 (pS490/pS498), rabbit pAb (Cat. #
SA-532)
ATF2, activating transcription factor 2, binds both AP-1 and CRE DNA response elements and is a member of the ATF/CREB family of leucine zipper proteins. Applications: WB, IHC.
|
beta-Catenin (pS33,pS37), rabbit pAb (Cat. #
SA-536)
beta-catenin is a central component of the cadherin cell adhesion complex and plays an essential role in the Wingless/Wnt signaling pathway. Species reactivity: human, rat, mouse and Xenopus. Applications: WB.
|
cdc2 (pY15), rabbit pAb (Cat. #
SA-537)
Cdc2 is a highly conserved serine protein kinase that plays a key role in regulation of the cell cycle. Species reactivity: human, mouse, rat and Xenopus. Applications: WB. |
GAP-43 (pS41), rabbit pAb (Cat. #
SA-531)
GAP-43 has an important role in neuronal development and plasticity and may amplify pathfinding signals from the growth cone. The phosphorylation-state of S41 mediates binding to actin. Applications: WB. |
Progesterone Receptor (pS294), mouse mAb (Cat. #
SA-549)
The phosphorylation on serine 294 by MEKK1 mediates ligand-dependent progesterone receptor degradation. Applications: WB, IHC. |
Progesterone Receptor (pS190), mouse mAb (Cat. #
SA-548)
Phosphorylation of serine 190 is associated with down-regulation of the receptor. Applications: WB, IHC. |
Western Blot analysis of rat cortex lysate probed with anti-5-LO (pS523). Lysate is without (1) and with (2) phosphatase pretreatment. |
 |
5-Lipoxygenase (pS523), rabbit pAb (Cat. #
SA-547)
5-LO has a key role in regulating the production of leukotrienes.
Phosphorylation of serine 523 by PKA both inhibits catalysis and causes 5-LO to accumulate in the cytoplasm where it is less able to produce leukotrienes.
Application: WB. |

Myelin Basic Protein (bovine, purified) (Cat. #
SE-458)
Native MBP purified from bovine central nervous system tissue and a substrate for various protein kinases. |
Myelin Basic Protein (bovine, purified), biotinylated (Cat. #
SE-459)
The biotinylation of MBP allows it to be used with streptavidin membranes in kinase assays.
|
MKP-3/Erk1 (human, recombinant) (Cat. #
SE-461)
Approximately 1:1 stoichiometric complex of MAP Kinase Phosphatase-3 ( MKP-3, DUSP-6, PYST1) with Erk1. Co-expressing MKP-3 with Erk1 MAP kinase results in increased phosphatase activity compared to MKP-3 expressed alone (Cat. #
SE-454). |
c-erbB2 (Her2) (human, recombinant) (Cat. #
SE-460)
Active c-erbB2 expressed in insect cells, amino acids 679-1255. GenBank ID # X03363. |
| c-erbB2, also known as Her2 and neu, is a member of the
epidermal growth factor receptor family.
A proto-oncogene, the erbB2 gene is amplified in 20-40% of all breast cancers and the protein is the target of the humanized monoclonal antibody, trastuzumab (Herceptin), the first targeted therapy for breast cancer.
Several new multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitors are expected to be approved this year, which target erbB2. (Inquire). |

| Synapsin and Synaptotagmin Antibodies |
| Synapsin and Synaptotagmin are important proteins for synaptic vesicle release.
Synapsin I binds synaptic vesicles, binds and bundles F-actin and promotes G-actin polymerization to regulate presynaptic actin network organization and the availability of synaptic vesicles for release.
Synaptotagmin is the primary calcium sensor for synaptic vesicle exocytosis, and has also been demonstrated to play a role in endocytosis. Both proteins are phosphorylated and regulated by multiple kinases. |
Synapsin I, rabbit pAb (Cat. #
SA-495)
Species reactivity: rat and human. Applications: WB. |
Synapsin I, rabbit pAb (Cat. #
