SpeedLead-PTM is a new selectivity screening
service provided by BIOMOL and Innova Biosciences that
provides accurate target selectivity data against a panel of
highly active phosphatases.
%
Inhibition Service - compounds are screened, in
duplicate, against the panel at two concentrations
IC50
Service - 9 point dose-response analysis to follow up on
interesting leads
We use
rigorous and completely objective quality control and
results are reported in 10 working days. |

PTEN
(Cat. # SE-402)
Human PTEN, full length with an N-terminal His-tag. PTEN
is one of the most common targets for mutation in
sporadic human cancers and was the first phosphatase
identified as a tumor suppressor. It is a
lipid phosphatase which can also act as a tyrosine,
serine and threonine protein phosphatase. Its main
biological substrate, however, is phosphatidylinositol
3,4,5-triphosphate (PIP3,
Cat.# PH-107). |

BIOMOL Honors
Judah Folkman with Lifetime Achievement Award
BIOMOL has
sponsored a Lifetime Achievement Award to Judah Folkman,
Director of the Vascular Biology Program at Children’s
Hospital Boston. Folkman’s work has largely founded the
field of angiogenesis and has led to the discovery and
implementation of angiogenesis inhibitors for the treatment
of cancer and macular degeneration. For more on Judah
Folkman, to request angiogenesis literature, or to view
angiogenesis products, visit our

SUMOylation
Assay (Cat. # UW8955)
This assay kit contains all reagents necessary for the
routine detection of SUMOylation activity. A mono-SUMOylation
substrate (RanGAP1) is included as a control to allow clear
detection of the SUMOylation reaction. Recombinant human
SUMO E1 (Cat. # UW9330), recombinant human SUMO E2, (Cat. #
UW9320), human SUMOs -1, -2, and -3 (Cat. #’s UW9195,
UW9205, and UW9215), and antibodies to SUMO-1 (Cat. #
PW8330) and SUMO-2/3 (Cat. # PW9465) are included in this
kit. Sufficient for 20-50 assays. |

The
BIOMOL 9th Edition Catalog/Handbook |
The BIOMOL 9th Edition Catalog/Handbook will be available in
March 2006. Reserve
your copy today!
The
BIOMOL Catalog/Handbook goes beyond the usual
dictionary listing of reagents. Reagents are
introduced within specific signal transduction pathways
organized by their respective function in the signaling
cascade. Useful tables, application notes and up-to-date
literature references for each reagent are also included.
